Job Summary:

The Mobile Therapist/Behavior Specialist Consultant services consist of individual therapy, family therapy, development and revision of the ITP, assistance with crisis stabilization and assistance with addressing problems the patient has encountered. MT treatment modalities include assessment of strengths and therapeutic needs of the patient and family, inclusion of the patient as a participant in his/her own treatment, inclusion of parents/caretakers as members of the treatment team and as partners in treatment, determination of any necessary family support services and need for special evaluations or services, provision of child-centered /family focused / individual and family psychotherapy, and collaboration with child and family to develop daily routines during times of crisis and transition as well as development of a 24-hour crisis plan. BC Services consist of clinical direction of services to the patient, development and revision of the ITP, oversight of the implementation of the ITP and consultation with the patient’s treatment team regarding the ITP. The BC provides assessment, data analysis, program design measurement and revision of behavioral interventions. The MT/BC completes other duties as assigned. This includes working in other Behavioral Health departments as permitted by lower volumes/workloads in the IBHS program.
Requirements:
  • PA License in Psychology /LPC/LCSW/LSW; or BCBA certification or hold a PA Behavior Specialist License with a graduate degree that includes a clinical direct service practicum with a minimum of 1 year experience in providing MH services to Children/youth/young adults AND at least 9 credits specific to general practice in psychology, social work or counseling.
  • CPR within 6 months
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
