Job Description

    
 Coordinates practice inquiries, scheduling appointments, answers telephone, greets patients, and prepares patient charts for new and existing patients.  Performs reception duties to maintain correct patient infrmation, coordinates authorizations for care and ensures proper chart is pulled for provider/physican.  Assists with the insurance verification and treatment authorization processes.  Performs patient discharge duties to include collection of co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles from current or previous visits.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Prior Front Office experience in a physician practice preferred
