Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the ER Department. Communicates with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Age of population served: Infant, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Age of population served: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical-pediatric setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Age of population served: nfant, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
- Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure valid in the state of Utah.
- At least one year RN experience required.
- Must be willing to Float to different departments as needed.
- Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
